Hull named Rugby League World Cup 2021 host

Hull has been named as an official host city for the Rugby League World Cup in 2021. And the city is aiming to make its matches the most diversely attended in its history. RLWC2021 have announced that Hull will host a group game and a quarter-final game after a successful bid by Hull City Council. In 2021, 32 teams will compete over 64 games, with the tournament promising to be one of the most inclusive and diverse events ever hosted in England. It will promote three disciplines of the sport – with men’s, women’s and wheelchair Rugby League World Cup contested.
