Back to Ours half-term spectacular continues with thrilling circus performances

Following an epic four nights of outdoor punk-pop opera, the half-term Back to Ours programme continues this weekend with a spectacular circus show at Sirius Academy West.

Circus giants Casus are presenting their DNA show from Thursday 31 October to Sunday 3 November.

Back to Ours director Louise Yates said: “We just love Casus. They’re a joy to work with and we’ve co-commissioned DNA so it was always on its way to Hull.

“This show got four and five-star reviews in Edinburgh. Like the very core of Back to Ours, it’s all about people and our connections with each other, so we fit together beautifully.

“They’re just amazing performers who give everything.”

The circus show follows on from Back to Bransholme, an epic outdoor show featuring punk-pop opera.

Tickets cost £3, with a two-for-one offer on tickets for tonight’s performance.

Natano Faanana, creative producer and co-founder of Casus Circus said: “What Casus does well is share ourselves. We bring ourselves to the stage and share our art. Our family has grown, and with that family growth there are new stories, and we wanted to tap into those. We want to tell stories about what makes us who we are today.

“We immediately felt a bond with Back to Ours because their backbone is also people – having a good time, getting involved with programming, and going on that journey together.”
