Remember, remember, the fifth of November. It’s time to don your hats, gloves and scarves and head out to see the region’s skies lit up by fireworks and bonfires.

Here’s a round-up of five of the top displays happening in and around Hull.

East Park Firework Spectacular
East Park, Holderness Road
Saturday 2 November 5pm
£5, £16 family tickets

This family favourite is one of the most popular Guy Fawkes Night events in the city, with a children’s display at 6.30pm ahead of a spectacular finale 8.30pm. A funfair, fire-breathers, a stunt show and character mascots will entertain crowds. Get tickets here.

Fireworks for Hull Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
West Hull ARLFC, North Road
Saturday 2 November 4pm
Free

This event to raise money for Hull Neonatal Intensive Care Unit will feature rides, bouncy castles, slides, stalls and food. The fireworks display will take place at 7.45pm. Learn more here.

Bonfire night at Hull Vineyard
Hull Vineyard Church, Vulcan Street
Sunday 3 November 4pm
£2 adults, £1 children, £5 family tickets

Head to this church for fireworks, a bonfire, food and hot drinks, plus a free goody bag for all children. No parking on site, while alcohol and sparklers are not allowed. Get tickets here.
