Hull City Council is aware of the industrial action by waste contractor FCC employees and Unison. We are supporting both parties to reach the quickest possible resolution and doing everything we can to maintain our services for residents.
All bin collection services in Hull will remain operational, and residents are being reminded to present their bins from 7am until 5pm on their day of collection.
Missed collections should be reported as normal but may be delayed during this period.
Household waste and recycling centres (HWRCs) will operate as usual from Friday Tuesday, 10am-5pm.
Our priority is to minimise any potential disruption to household waste collections, in the event that services are disrupted through industrial action.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and appreciate residents patience through this period of potential service disruption.
Residents are reminded that Good Friday is a normal waste collection day in Hull and bins should be presented as normal.
