Roadworks in Endike Lane to resume next week

Roadworks in Endike Lane will resume next week.

From Monday 29 June, works will begin to repair the roundabout at the junction of Endike Lane and Cranbrook Avenue.

Once completed, resurfacing works between Cranbrook Avenue and 7th Avenue will take place.

It is anticipated that the works will take six weeks to complete and will reopen fully to motorists on Monday 10 August.

A diversion route will be in place via Greenwood Avenue and Inglemire Lane.

Councillor Anita Harrison, portfolio holder for highways at Hull City Council, said: “We are undertaking the work in two phases so that we can try and minimise disruption to traffic.

“This work is necessary. We apologise for the delay and ask that motorists are patient while we carry out these essential repairs.”

During these works, buses and motorists will be diverted via Greenwood Avenue and Inglemire Lane.

Access will be maintained for pedestrians and motorists.

The city centre will be taken over for the annual Pride in Hull event this weekend.
