Hull City Council has teamed up with groups across the city to help children to have an active summer.

Top children’s events in Hull this week

Plenty of free and low-priced events for children are happening every day over the summer break.

Along with Change4Life, Hull City Council has teamed up with youth centres, children centres, parks and volunteers to help children to have a healthy and fun summer.

Here are some of the activities this week:

Wednesday 24 July

Summer Splash at East Park noon-3pm

Sport sessions at Grasby Park 1pm-3pm

Little Mike’s Fun Play at St Michael’s Youth Project 3.30pm-5pm

Thursday 25 July

Arts and Crafts at North Bransholme Community Centre 10am-12pm

Community Coffee Morning at Hessle Road Network 10am-12pm

Grow food and cook at Little Stars Children Centre 1pm-2pm

Open Access Youth Club at Bridges Hull 3.45pm-5.15pm

Friday 26 July

Family Fun Day and Big Picnic at King George V Playing Fields 11am-3pm

Reach Community Open Access at the Vulcan Centre 4pm-8pm
