Free virtual events for families this half-term

From scavenger hunts and tree trails to dog tails and street dancing, the team at Hull Libraries has organised an action packed calendar of free online activities to keep the kids entertained this half-term and beyond.

Hot on the heels of the success of The Reset Lab which took place as part of this year’s Freedom Festival at Home, the programme of activities runs through October half-term and into November.

Katie Holdstock from Hull Libraries, said: “Over the past six months we’ve been trialling lots of different online events to see how our families like to be entertained at home. While we’re currently not able to bring people together in large groups, through these activities we aim to keep everyone entertained at home through storytelling, craft, photography and dance.

“If you would like to be the first to hear about new events, sign up to our mailing list and we’ll send library love direct to your inbox on the last Friday of every month!”

The programme includes scavenger hunts, stories, socially distanced dancing and fairy tales.
