Coronavirus: Changes to Citizens Advice Bureau in Hull and East Riding

Citizens Advice Bureaus in Hull and the East Riding will no longer carry out face-to-face services from tomorrow.

It means the office in The Wilson Centre will be closed to the public.

Offices in the East Riding including Beverley, Bridlington and Goole will also be closed.

Advice will instead be available on 03444 111 444, or 0800 144 8444 for Universal Credit, or on email at [email protected].

A spokesperson for Citizens Advice said: “We expect demand for our services to increase substantially over the coming weeks and months and we want to assure you that we will make every effort to support our residents and clients during these challenging times.

“We believe we can continue to provide more complex advice and casework with our advisers offering telephone appointments on a call back arrangement.”
