Five people caught dumping waste in one Hull street

Five people have been caught fly-tipping in the same spot.

Five offenders have been caught on CCTV fly-tipping at the junction of Boulevard and Ena Street in Hull.

Anyone with any information on the following offenders should contact Hull City Council or email [email protected]

On Sunday 19 April, a man was caught dumping excess waste near bin before walking away. Anyone who recognises him should contact the council, quoting reference 386610.

On Tuesday 21 April, a second man was captured dumping a large black bin bag in the same spot. Anyone who recognises him should contact the council, quoting reference 386815.

On Wednesday 29 April, a third man was dumping a shopping bag. Anyone who recognises him should contact the council, quoting reference 387421.

On Wednesday 4 May, a woman was caught dumping an ironing board, bucket and electrical appliance. Anyone who recognises her should contact the council, quoting reference 387633.

On Friday 15 May, a man was caught fly-tipping a sports bag filled with waste. Anyone who recognises him should contact the council, quoting reference 388489.

Councillor Anita Harrison, portfolio holder for Streetscene at Hull City Council, said: “This type of blatant disregard for the environment is incredibly irresponsible and we encourage members of the public to get in touch with us so we can prosecute offenders in a bid to stamp out this anti-social behaviour.

“I would also like to say a huge thank you to those that are getting in touch and sharing details, as this has already led to a number of successful prosecutions.”
