Hull one of five cities to host exclusive CBeebies event

Hull has been named as one of the only Northern cities to host a new CBeebies event this summer.

Hull and York join four London and Surrey locations announced so far in this brand new event guaranteed to knock the socks off our young generation.

CBeebies Rainbow Adventure will visit Queen Victoria Square Friday 5 – Sunday 14 June with a fun-packed experience full of colour, shape and sound where little ones can sing, dance, discover and play.

This ticketed event will host groups of up to 37, who will be taken on a 50-minute journey through a bespoke CBeebies garden and five themed, interactive rooms based on well-loved CBeebies favourites to find the rainbow’s missing colours.

The wonderfully immersive rooms, featuring some of CBeebies well-loved shows including Hety Duggee, Something Special and Go Jetters, contain flowers that make sounds, rocks which change colour, light-up walls, over-sized fruits, air-filled hedges and clouds giving visitors a unique sensory experience.

Councillor Dave Craker, Portfolio Holder for Leisure and Culture at Hull City Council, said: “CBeebies is such a popular channel across the country, we are really lucky to be hosting this event which I already know will prove incredibly popular with our young people.”

Founder of Step Inside Productions, Dan Marks, who have designed and created the event, said: “Compelling entertainment experiences are about stepping into and experiencing new worlds.  Step Inside Productions is delighted to be partnering with BBC Studios to create CBeebies Rainbow Adventure and we look forward to bringing the channel and its programming to life in a new and compelling way and taking it to young fans across the UK.”

Tickets are available to book and more information can be found at the Rainbow Adventure website.
