Sutton Road Bridge will be closed to vehicles from Tuesday 22 to Thursday 24 August in order to carry out essential mastic asphalt repairs to the carriageway on the lifting span of the bridge.
The bridge will be closed to pedestrians and cyclists during the morning on Tuesday 22 only, and on Thursday 24 the bridge will need to be lifted so there will be no access.
A signed diversion route will be in place for Sutton Road/Beverley Road/Clough Road/Stoneferry Road/Holwell Road/Sutton Road.
