A virtual memorial service will take place to remember those who lost their lives on Hull’s roads.
On Sunday 15 November, people will be able to access an online memorial service to remember and celebrate the lives of victims of road traffic accidents.
The annual event forms part of the United Nation’s World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, which takes place in November every year.

Allan Robins, road safety officer at Hull City Council, said: “Unfortunately, we are having to deliver this service in a manner that adheres with the current Covid-19 restrictions, but we hope that the families and friends of loved ones who were killed on the city’s will still find this special service a fitting way to pay their respects.
“With more names added to the Book of Remembrance year-on-year it is clear that there are still too many casualties on our city’s roads. We hope that this service sends a respectful yet powerful reminder to all road users to take care.”
The recorded memorial service will be available to stream on Hull City Council’s website from 0.01am on Sunday 15 November.
