An appeal for memories of Hull Fair is being made ahead of the launch of an online exhibition.
Residents are being asked to contribute with photographs, stories and artwork from memorable visits to this highlight of Hull’s calendar.
Hull Museums has commissioned Hull writer Russ Litten and filmmakers Nova Studios to make a video about memories of the fair.

The film will appear in the online exhibition, featuring memories including photographs taken with monkeys, goldfish received as prizes on the hook-a-duck, Chicken Joe, boxing booths and the Wall of Death.
The exhibition will feature public submissions from the showpeople and the people of Hull to celebrate the fair.
