Join Hull Libraries and special guests for free online half term fun

Families are invited to join Hull Libraries and their special guests in a range of activities to enjoy from the comfort of home this half term.

Learn new skills and gain confidence with some super funky socially distanced street dance moves on Monday 15 February, 4pm-4.45pm.

Zoom Through Space with Cosmic Carol on Tuesday 16 and Friday 19 February at 1.30-2.30pm take a tour of the solar system from the comfort of your own home with Cosmic Carol, Hull’s very own science communicator and planetarium presenter.

Get your craft on in the Helping Hands We Made This craft workshop as part of their citywide trail Helping Hands. The project is honouring #HelpingHands by asking local people to create an artwork trail of handprints in homes and public spaces. Take part in this free session to make your own hand-shaped ‘thank you’.

Sessions will take place on Tuesday 16 February, 10.30-11.30am, Thursday 18 February, 2.00-3.00pm, and Saturday 27 February, 10.30am -11.30am.

Join Hull Libraries at 10am on Saturday 20 February in We’re Going On a Story Hunt! for a scavenger hunt around your home followed by a story told by fabulous storyteller John Kirk. Suitable for families with children aged three and over for this free interactive session that will include the retelling of a popular fairy tale. You will need paper, pencils and permission to turn the house upside down!

Events are free and can be booked via the Hull Libraries EventBrite page.

All events are online delivered via Zoom. Further details will be sent once a ticket has been booked.
