Hull-born Liam Mower to star in Swan Lake at city theatre

Hull-born dancer Liam Mower will star as The Prince in Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake at Hull New Theatre this month.

Swan Lake will be performed at Hull New Theatre from Tuesday 23 to Saturday 27 April.

The legendary production was first staged in 1995 and went on to become the longest-running ballet on the West End and Broadway.

Matthew Bourne’s powerful interpretation of Tchaikovsky’s masterpiece is a contemporary Swan Lake for our times.

He, along with award-winning designers Lez Brotherston and Paule Constable, has re-imagined the classic with a fresh look while retaining some famous elements of the original production.
