A diversion route will be in place via Greenwood Avenue and Inglemire Lane.

Councillor Anita Harrison, portfolio holder for highways at Hull City Council, said: “We are undertaking the work in two phases so that we can try and minimise disruption to traffic.

“However this work is necessary. We apologise for the delay and ask that motorists are patient while we carry out these essential repairs.”

There will be no bus services on Endike Lane between the Cranbrook Avenue roundabout and Ellerburn Avenue. Signposts will be in place directing bus users to the nearest bus stop.
