East Park named best free day out in East Yorkshire at Mumbler awards

East Park has been named the best local free day out in the Hull and East Riding Mumbler awards.

The park in Holderness Road pipped the Streetlife Museum into second place in the parenting community group’s first Family Awards, celebrating the best things to do for families in East Yorkshire.

Voting took place in January and February and results were due to be announced at an awards ceremony on Saturday 20 March before the event was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Results were instead announced online on Sunday 7 June.
