Hull City Council has launched a new Rent Advice campaign

Hull City Council has launched a new Rent Advice campaign to urge Council tenants to get in touch with their local housing teams or one of its customer service advisors if they are struggling to pay rent due to COVID-19.

Hull City Council tenants experiencing any problems, including struggling to pay rent, housing issues or any other issues they feel the council could help with can go online at www.hull.gov.uk/councilrent or call 01482 300 300 to request an appointment with a customer service advisor.

Nicholas Harne, Assistant Director Neighbourhoods and Housing, said: “This campaign is to encourage tenants to come forward with any problems and not leave it until they are at a crisis situation.

“It’s essential that people make an appointment with one of the customer service centres advisors, who will be able to advise and explore solutions to your problems.

“Seek support from your local housing team, explore possible solutions and take control of your rent.”
