Here are the candidates for this year’s local elections

Nominations have been published for this year’s local elections, residents can now find which candidates are standing for election in their ward.

One seat is up for election in each of the 19 Hull wards that have scheduled local elections – there are no elections in Ings and Kingswood wards this year.

Find out who is standing for election in the Statement of Persons Nominated here.

Residents who are registered should now have received a polling letter giving the address of their polling station.

Residents can also visit the Where do I vote? website and enter their postcode to check where their polling station is.

Polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm on Thursday 5 May.
