Polls open in Hull City Council by-election

Residents in the St Andrew’s and Docklands ward have the opportunity to go to the polls today in a city council by-election.

The candidates in today’s by-election are:

  • Dan Bond (Conservative)
  • Leanne Fudge (Labour)
  • Tracey Henry (Liberal Democrats)

The ward has 10,380 registered voters. It covers an area from the city centre to parts of Hessle Road and Anlaby Road.

Polling stations will be open between 7am and 10pm with the count taking place immediately afterwards in the Guildhall.

The by-election follows the death of long-serving councillor Nadine Fudge.
