Four-storey student halls approved by planners

A four-storey student halls of residence could be built just off Beverley Road, Hull, after council planners granted conditional approval for the development.

The new building in Beech Grove would comprise a mixture of 21 studio units, 14 two-bedroom units, nine three-bedroom units and five four-bedroom units, making up 49 units and 96 bedrooms.

It is part of a wider application that includes the continued use of flats in Beech Grove, resulting in a total of 137 beds across 74 units.

Parking spaces for 24 cars are proposed, including five disabled spaces. Two motorcycle spaces are also provided, as is secure cycle parking.
