Grab your wands and broomsticks for magical Harry Potter Night

Young wizards, witches and muggles all invited to a magical Harry Potter Night tomorrow (Thursday 4 February).

The Hull Libraries team has been working hard to bring the magic of Harry Potter direct to people’s home, with events taking place from 4pm – 8pm.

This year, all of the events will take place online – and they’re all free!

Most events will be delivered via Zoom and are suitable for families and children aged eight years and over. There will also be lots of activities to keep little ones happy too.

To get involved in the magic, register for events via the Hull Libraries EventBrite page.

Marjorie Brabazon, Chair of Hull Culture and Leisure, said: “We know how everyone loves our Harry Potter Night and wanted to make sure families can be involved but in a different way.”

Katie Holdstock, Events and Promotions Manager at Hull Libraries, explained: “Get your cloaks on and join us for some very special guests for an enchanting evening of storytelling, crafting, potion-making and a whole host of magical mayhem celebrating.

“While we’re disappointed that we can’t gather together in person, we’re excited to bring a flavour of Hogwarts to your home this February.”
